Ten games I say guys, 10 games!

By: Samir | August 30th, 2009

Number 10Could you believe that I played 10 games after writing the last post???! Well yes, I had that post done time ago, so I played a lot after writing it….

Ok, to start, a question to you guys, what if we try some polls in for the game asking you who to buy or who to sell, and that sort of things? Well, if yes, maybe in one of the next posts we could try it!

Well, as I have played 10 games, I will only write the results of the games and some comments….

Friendly, Heracles-Napoli: 0-5 Goals from Maggio, Blasi, two Lavezzi and Denis…

Friendly, NAC Breda-Napoli: 1-0 Westerveld Goal, but Napoli played with some sort of “B” formation, because I wanted everyone to play at least one game…

Friendly, Willem II-Napoli: 0-2 Pazienza and Marotta score, and also this game was played with the “B” formation because of the Euro Cup game three days later. Good game by youngster Massimiliano Esposito.

Euro Cup, Napoli-Cork City: 2-0 Hamsik and Russotto scored, Russotto was in his debut…

Euro Cup, Cork City-Napoli: 0-3 Goals by Lavezzi, Blasi, and, guess who Daryl, Rodney Sneijder…

Serie A, Napoli-Juventus: 1-0, finally, the start of the Serie A, I am completely scared, I would have prefered to play in Serie B rather than playing Juventus in the first game. Well, not really. So, I play a 4-1-3-2, by that I mean a defensive midfielder, Gargano, playing just above the defense, three midfielders and two strikers. Juventus was having a lot of occasions, but in the 35th minute Maggio ran in the right and crossed to Lavezzi who scored for us. Juventus played a great game but we got the result!

Friendly, Napoli-A.D. San Juan: 4-0, I organized this friendly in the 6th of September against a Spanish team that is not even in Liga Adelante (the Spanish second division) to make a not so good for now Keirrison play and score. And what I planned actually worked. Keirrison scored three goals and Vitale completed the job. Unfortunately, Keirrison got injured in the last minutes and he will be out for 3 weeks or a month. Maybe this game wasn’t a good idea!

Serie A, Genoa-Napoli: 0-2, confident after the Juve game, I went into this game playing a wide team, but it wasn’t that good idea because Genoa controlled the game, fortunately Maggio was winning a lot of balls in the right and crossing a lot, and after a lot of crosses, finally Denis go to head one and got Napoli in front, Aronica closed the game with a penalty in the 80th minute.

Euro Cup, Dnipro-Napoli: 0-0 Against this Hukraine team I thought I would easily win. WRONG. They played almost better than me, need to change something definitely heading into the Milan game….

Serie A, Napoli-Milan: 2-3, Perfect, just brilliant, who wouldn’t love to play Juventus and Milan in the first three Serie A games?! I went into this game with a wide team and it partly worked… In the first real opportunity of the game, in counter-attack Denis got the ball, got round Kaladze and Abbiati and scored for us, great, but not that good, because it was really early in the game (11th minute), and Milan won’t let us win so easily. After a lot of Milan opportunities, including a Shevchenko shot going into the crossbar, Pirlo took a corner and Kaladze got the game squared. Shit, problems coming! Napoli played ok after that goal and Milan didn’t have a lot of opportunities. In the second half, Milan had more and more opportunities, but, incredibly, it was Napoli ahead again! Gargano scored a great goal! I thought this one was also done for us, but I was wrong again. Shevchenko scored a goal he seemed to want from the start of the game, and, in the 90th minute, when I thought we would get a good draw against Milan, Pirlo took another corner and Flamini killed me. Like Maroon 5 song says, “Gotta shoot him dead”… I can swear that was what Flamini thought about us the second before he headed that ball…. :(

So that’s it for now guys, see you in the next post….. Will try to put a poll on it….. But you can answer me this question now, should I try to buy for the next season this Dnipro player?

Yeah. That was a good move. I was going to say that if you could get him for less than 4 mmil. to go for it, so that’s a nice piece of business.
