My dear German, I love ya!

Hey guys! Remember in the first post I wrote that the first eigth posts were written before the blog been created? Well, it’s 100% true. For example, as I write now, exactly, 20 August 2009 at the 14.30 in Greenwich (don’t know if spelled right), in the game I am in the 27th October 2009 and going to play Udinese away in two days….. German Denis

Ok, let’s start talking about my adventure at San Paolo, can you believe I dream at night people talking in “napoletano”, (Napoletano is Italian but how people from Napoli speak it), about how Keirrison’s transfer was a bad decision or not? It’s incredible, I just can’t get FM09 out of my head!

In this last FM09 days, I was thinking on who to buy very cheaply (Have only 350 thousand euros for transfers!) so I thought on searching for free agents, I didn’t find anyone that was, well, good, but when I was going to stop searching, I saw him, Ronaldo, 32 years old, very good stats, a lot of goals with PSV, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter, Milan, etc., so I decided to offer him 24 thousand per week, he said yes, but I couldn’t complete the signing because he had 2 more months of injury (remember 9 months injury in February in an AC Milan game) and I need to wait at least until January……

So, here you go, some game reports:

Serie A, Chievo-Napoli:

I tried a 4-3-1-2 to play narrow as my ass man told me, took out Hamsik and put in Sneijder, Maggio went to the right back and Marcio went out for Blasi and put Russotto Attacking midfielder.. The things went bad from the start, Esposito in the 14th minute shoot on the crossbar. In the 55th minute, in one of the only opportunities I had Denis got the crossbar and Pellissier the post in 87th minute…Wooohh, he got close! Denis and Zalayeta had 5.5 and 5.9, while Blasi, Vitale, Maggio, Santacroce, and Sneijder had 7+….. Need to do something if I want to play well again….

RESULT: D 0-0

Serie A, Napoli-Lecce:

Yes! I need to say the Chievo game is history now, even considering it was Lecce, my (imaginary) team’s game was perfect, I say, PERFECT!! The first ten minutes were the best of the game for Lecce, think about it, we only had 3 opportunities! In the 27th minute Denis was in the limit of the area and passed the ball a little backwards to Keirrison who made a perfect shot for his first Napoli goal! By the way, he is a wonderkid now! At the 32nd minute Sneijder got a freekick in the right and crossed it in the penalty area to Maggio who headed the ball in the net! 2-0! After that Lecce seemed to wake up a little bit and Tiribocchi got the ball just outside the box and chipped it in the goal… In the half time, Denis got a 5.8 and substituted him for Lavezzi, while Sneijder, Maggio and, a great Kerreison had 7.7. The game in the second half was a little more equilibrated, but we were still playing better than them… In the 83rd minute Lecce defender Stendardo passed it to back to goalie Benussi who kicked the ball with so much strength that the ball hit a Lecce defender an went towards Keirrison, who shoot with no one in the goal and scored his second goal!!! Yes, Chievo is completely history for me!

RESULT: W 3-1

Euro Cup 2nd Round Leg 2, Napoli-Dnipro:

After the draw in the 1st Leg, I wasn’t so sure about winning as I was before the 1st match, so I played an easy 4-4-2 playing wide, quick, with short passes, played Insua in the left back, Vitale in the left-mid, Hamisk midfielder, and Keirrison and Lavezzi strikers. The game started very good for us but the first half finished with no goals…. Some ratings after the first half were Gargano and Lavezzi 5.5, so I took Mannini to the game and Gargano went to the bench…. In the 56th minute Vitale crossed to Lavezzi but he couldn’t head the ball, fortunately Maggio was behind him, took the ball, shoot, and scored the 1-0 for us! 5 minutes later, Keirrison and Lavezzi made a great combination just outside the box and Keirrison kicked it in the net! 2-0! Good win, but we could have done much better…. Next day, I got a mail from Gargano, he told me this: “Cheers mister, we still won!”, but I’m not sure, maybe it was just my imagination!

RESULT: W 2-0

Serie A, Reggina-Napoli:

Remember what I told you about the Chievo game? This one was almost the same, with the ~~big~~ difference that I won!! I played almost the same 4-4-2 as the one that I played against Dnipro, with the difference that Zalayeta played for Lavezzi. The game started very, very, very bad…. Barretto made a great shot from out of the box that got in the top corner. Brilliant, losing 1-0 against Reggina after 8 minutes, REGGINA! Fortunately for me, he’s there, Keirrison got the ball in the midfield, ran, got past Lanzaro and scored the equalizer… Thanks god I bought that boy! I thought it will be another draw against a relegation team, but, I was (fortunately) wrong! Navarro got the ball in his area and kicked it long and Keirrison escaped from Lanzaro and easily scored the winning goal!!! OH YES! WE WON! But we still need to play better……:(

RESULT: W 2-1

Oh, bad news, Keirrison is out for 3 weeks because an injury with Brazil U21.. By the way, I was sorted into the Euro Cup groups with Ajax, CSKA Moscow, Braga, and Racing, could some of you tell me in the comments what players I should be preoccuppied of in the games against this teams?

Serie A, Palermo-Napoli
Guys, guys, guys, I need to tell you something, even if the final result was 2-2, I am really proud of my team, well, partly proud let’s say! This is one of the (imaginary) games you would remember for your whole life, at least, I can see me now telling my grandsons what happened in that game!! Again, the game didn’t start good for us, and in the 24th and 39th they killed me with two great Bresciano and Miccoli goals….So, I just continued watching the game thinking of what will be the changes for the next matches….But then, the miracle.Second half, Napoli had some opportunities, a lot of possesion, Denis gets past Bresciano, but there is Carrozzieri before the goalkeeper, incredible, Denis got past him too! But when he was running toward the goalie, Carrozzieri tripped him! Penalty! Lavezzi kicked it and scored. Good. However, I didn’t think we would have done what did do…. We got a lot more of opportunities, but Amelia was always there! And when I had already no more hope to draw, Lavezzi took a corner and Denis, German Denis, headed that ball in the back of the net! I shouted like if someone was about to kill me. Thank you German. Believe it or not, my sister came to my room and gave me two big kicks!!

RESULT: D 2-2

So that’s it for now guys, as I am writing this while blog is still not created, I will start putting polls and making it more interesting when it will be finally created.
