Meyong alias “Hitman”
By: Samir | August 31st, 2009Guys, this post is to write you about the last four games I played while the blog is still not created. And I swear the next post will be written while the blog is created, I swear, so be ready, start judging me from the next post, because I will start making everything more interesting, you’ll see!
Serie A, Napoli-Sampdoria
As the Ajax game went so good, I tried the same formatin, with Bogliacino and Hamsik out, and Sneijder and Russotto in. And with Zalayeta being injured I tried Denis and a tired Keirrison strikers with young Mario Marotta in the bench. In the 21st minute Gargano from 30 yards hit the post. And in the 37th minute Keirrison got injured again. Out for 2 weeks (sigh..). So Marotta got his Serie A debut. I thought it wouldn’t change much in the game, but I was evidently wrong. Only 5 minutes later the Sampdoria’s right winger, Padalino, whom I prefered not to mark a lot, crossed for Cassano, and Sampdoria went ahead. It’s incredible, I had prefered to mark their right winger, and their left winger punishes me, ouch…. In the second half they are playing much better than us, but fortunately Sneijder got a freekick in the right at the 76th minute. He crossed, and incredibly, young debut Marotta scored the definitive 1-1. Wow, Marotta! Thanks! The final stats of players were all 7+…
This is the League Table after the game:

In the meanwhile, Lyon asked to buy Blasi for 5.5mil euros, but I said no, and wanted Hamsik for 9.5mil euros, and I told them yes, because I need money to buy Marquinhos (hoping he plays as good as he played for Daryl in his blog)….
Serie A, Inter-Napoli
So, it’s all or nothing, it’s the game against Inter, the 1st team of the Serie A right now…. As in the game against Ajax, I prepared the formation three days before, Gargano def. midfielder, Marotta will play for Zalayeta, and Sneijder for Hamsik. In the first half Inter played much better than my (imaginary) Napoli, but I managed to save the 0-0 result. I thought I could save it for another 45 minutes, it would really be great… But no, Cambiasso in the 56th minute shoot from out of the box and scored. In the 65th Ibra headed a cross and closed the game for Inter, and to make it even worse Denis got the post in the 75th and three minutes later Crespo scored the 3-0. It was easy for them, shite.
Before the next game, in which I played Cagliari, Hamsik didn’t want to go to Lyon, so I offered him to many teams and it seems he’s going to finally leave, and Lyon offered for Blasi, Gargano, and Lavezzi, Gargano I’m selling him for sure, for Blasi I need to think, and Lavezzi is not leaving… What do you say, who should I sell, Blasi, Gargano, or both?
Serie A Napoli-Cagliari:
I tried the same 4-4-2 like in the game against Ajax. Keirrison was finally back, and he played for Marotta near Denis.. After 32 seconds, Cagliari’s goali Marchetti went out of his area to kick the ball long, unfortunately for him it hit one of his defenders and the ball moved to Denis’s feet, who scored before Marchetti got to the goal… We were playing very good, I don’t know if it was because it was Cagliari we were playing, but Denis was completely making the difference. In the half time, I took Zalayeta out because he had 5.8 rating, and Keirrison came back to the pitch after his injury, and that was a great decision. After just 4 minutes of him playing, Canini lost the ball to him in his penalty area, and Keirrison easily scored. Keirrison and Denis were making a great attack couple, but no more goal came until the 85th minute, when Keirrison got past Canini and scored. The player ratings were all 7+ but Keirrison, who had 8.0…
Do you remember I asked you if you liked Ferreyra in some of my past posts? Well, he was going to be bought by Saint Etienne, so I offered him 3 millions and bought him…. Think it was a good decision??
The next is the last game I played without the blog haven’t been created, against Braga in the Euro Cup…
EURO Cup, Braga-Napoli:
The post’s title was meant for this game, specially for Meyong, Braga’s best striker…. I played the same formation like against Cagliari. After only 1 minute, Hamsik crossed to Denis and we got ahead fastly… The game got even better when the same Denis scored the best goal I have seen in this save from 35 yards! After that Braga seemed to play better, and in the 35th minute Meyong headed a cross and scored the 2-1… In the half time I took out a 6.0 Keirrison for Lavezzi. Incredibly, that was not Denis’s or Napoli’s day, but Meyong’s, nicknamed by me Hitman after this game, scored in the 65th minute. And I was lucky to mantain the draw after that… Conclusion: Meyong is a great striker! Here are his stats:

if you want to achieve any type of success, dont sell Gargano. In my Napoli game i retrained him to a CM and put Miguel Veloso as the DM. i feel it works.
