Goodbye MareKiaro…

Ok, guys, this is it! Finally!… The first post written while the blog was created… Some people have already read my blog, some people maybe will read it in the future, but this is my FIRST REALLY IMPORTANT POST… So, this is were our ~~real~~ adventure truly starts…

After Braga game I was preoccupied of two things, 1. What change will I do in the formation and in the team instructions and 2. What will be Hamsik’s, Marquinhos’s, Gargano’s, Blasi’s, and also, Lavezzi’s future…..

So, Braga game was good, but as you know, Meyong is an authentic killer, and Braga took 1 point that should have been mine(sigh!)… Next game was 18th place Atalanta, but I wasn’t so sure about doing good, mostly thinking about their two wingers, Cristiano Doni, that in my other Napoli save scored me a goal in every Napoli-Atalanta I played (exactly 13), and Ferreira Pinto, who once scored to my Napoli in the other save the goal that made me loose a Serie A title. I just hope they don’t do what they are used to do against my team…

While I was thinking on what formation try against Atalanta, Lyon offered 8mil for Blasi, I decided to negotiate it. 10mil or nothing, and guess what they took? Nothing! Next, Hamsik, as you know, didn’t want to play for Lyon, but as I offered him to a lot of clubs, Fiorentina seemed to offer him a good contract, and he will be leaving for Firenze in January for 9.5mil, that will next be used to buy definitely Marquinhos, he will be at San Paolo by January for 14mil… Lyon also offered 9.5 for Lavezzi and 6 for Gargano, both rejected by me… So, a question, did I do good in buying and selling players? And also, I have 4mil left, and I think I should buy a midfielder, who do you advice me to buy?

Now, some game reports:

Atalanta-Napoli:

Remember Braga game? Ehm… EXACTLY THE SAME… Formation almost the same, instructions also, but I played more attacking with a midfielder playing with defensive mentality… We started great, 5 minutes and 3 opportunities. And without waiting a second, Denis, after he got his first ball of the match in Atalanta’s half, shoot from 25 yards, the ball hit the post and we went ahead. Ok, 1-0, we’re winning… The game was being played a lot better by my team, but in the 40th minute a Luca Cigarini that I would love to buy one day, (you guys may consider him when answering the question I asked about buying a midfielder) shoot almost from the same distance in which Denis scored, got the ball in the net and equalized. After that the game wasn’t easy, but in the 61st minute Lavezzi got a penalty and scored the 2-1 goal for us.. Well, I’m ahead, fortunately, but I’m ahead, let’s just hope we can mantain the result. That was what I thought after that goal, and, I think you guys are already used to read this: I was wrong! Floccari got a cross from, guess who, Ferreira Pinto!, and scored the equalizer and the (sigh!) last goal of the game… Another 2-2, another game equalized by the other team because of my instability in the defense… Can you guys give me some advice for the defenders individual instructions?? Will really love it!!

RESULT: D 2-2

Well, that’s it, after the Atalanta game I drew some conclusions: 1. My defense is not stable. 2. Lavezzi does well only when he wants. 3. Need help to solve defense instability. 4. Marquinhos will be a great add for the team. 5. As MareKiaro Hamsik is leaving, and Ferreyra is not arriving until the end of the season, I need an MC to play very good. 6. Maybe I did OK not to sell Gargano, after following Shadow’s tip.

Next game is also an EURO Cup clash against Racing, from Spain, and I need some defense stability to win it. Here yo go:

Napoli-Racing:

Oh well, an EURO Cup game against a team that in Spain is in the 9th place, so I think I can definitely do better than them, but if I want to do good, my defense should be more stable. I tried the same attack and midfield as the Atalanta game, and changed some individual instructions of the players in the defensive line. Guys, you need to know that, FM is sometimes 100& frustrating. If I had won this game, I will be qualified to the next round automatically. But that, sigh, didn’t happen… My defensive changes were ok, as they were playing so good that they almost seemed 4 more midfielders than defenders. The midfield was making the ball go through every part of the pitch and the strikers were doing part of their job, shooting. And, after 39 minutes of being frustrated because the ball didn’t want to get in the net, Denis got in the penalty area and scored the 1-0 for us. We wanted that goal, we needed that goal, and we knew it was going to arrive. After that my team worked as perfectly as before, and in the 50th minute we almost got the 2-0 but Lavezzi caught the post… In the half-time, I saw Hamsik had a 5.9 rating, and I decided to take him out for Russotto, but to be honest, I didn’t see Hamsik playing THAT bad to get a 5.9. However, just to point out what happened in the second half, Colsa in the 52nd minute scored a great goal, but it was from outside the area, so I am proud to say my defense didn’t have the fault of the goal, or did they?! My team after that played as good as before, but the strikers and the midfielder just couldn’t get the ball in the net. I even tried to put Keirrison in for Lavezzi but he didn’t do anything either. So so bad, one day my defense plays great, that day the strikers can’t get the ball in the net, excluding Denis….

RESULT: D 1-1
